Create your workspace

When you sign up, ClientsPlace automatically creates your first workspace. A workspace is where all your clients, projects, invoices, and team members live. You can have multiple workspaces under one account (e.g., one per brand or department).

Configure basic settings

  1. Open the sidebar menu and click "Settings"
  2. Under "General", set your workspace name, logo, and timezone
  3. Pick your default currency (you can enable multi-currency later)
  4. Set your default invoice due period (Net 15, Net 30, etc.)
  5. Save your changes

Invite your team

Team members can be assigned different roles: Admin (full access), Member (work access), or Client (portal access only).

  1. Go to Settings → Team
  2. Click "Invite member"
  3. Enter their email and pick a role
  4. Optionally restrict them to specific clients or projects
  5. They'll receive an invitation email to join

Brand your client portal

  1. Go to Settings → Branding
  2. Upload your logo (SVG or 512×512 PNG recommended)
  3. Pick your brand primary and accent colors
  4. Set your portal subdomain (yourbrand.clientsplace.com)
  5. Preview the client view before publishing
Tip: A branded portal makes you look premium to your clients. Set this up before inviting any clients.
